Hukilau

I made this throw for my niece Teressa, and also to practice my edge to edge skills. I wanted her to feel like she was on the beaches of Hawaii when she wrapped up in this one. The quilt top was a Bali Pop - Pink Lemonade and the back was a cute Hawaiian print. The quilting is a series of blocks, again a classic Hawaiian pattern. I liked the way the quilting created another dimension when it was finished. Aloha.
