Finally - for you Mom


I remember when I was a little girl my Mom working on this quilt. By the time she finished the applique, she was finished. I decided that it was time to finally get this quilted. It was a lesson in patience, but I'm pleased with the finished result. I know Mom would be happy that this project of 40+ years is finished.

I did a little research on this quilt pattern. Sold by Sear's in the 1930's this is the American Beauty. There were hundreds of quilts with every flower imaginable.
