I'm not kidding - this piecing on this quilt is incredible. Every single point is PERFECT! I also love love love the colors that she chose. When I called her to tell her the quilt was finished - I told her if she didn't pick it up in 3 days, it was mine.
She debated what color thread to use and I think the muted purple was a perfect choice. It blends in the background pieces, but shows up nicely in the ivory blocks. Shirley said that this quilt took her two years to piece. When I think about that, it makes me scared that I quilted it. But, I'm proud of the job. Thanks Shirley! (Three days and counting)
